A SHAME

Español English Français Português

Today I read (initially I heard it on the radio) about three innocent people that have spent some time in prison for crimes they didn´t commit. One of them for a year, another for ten, the last just fifteen.

Nothing new. I knew this kind of things happen. Here. People think in other things. That happen in America, in the Dead Rows. The injustices of the legal system. There. What people don´t like to think about is that this happens here, in their home, in their corridor, next door.

What a relief it is to think that all the bad ones are the others. But we live in a shit of a country. Like those. Like any other. Like all there are.

I am happy (yes, happy) that this has been published in Spain, so people can now that this happens in this country, every day, and that this is a shame, that unjustice is always falling over the weak one, so that everyone thinks each and every single day about it when they blame another one, when they think the guilt belongs to someone other different than him.

And then we will hear bastards saying that here any kind of criminal who wants is free. No, the one who is free is the one is the criminal WE want to be free. The big criminal, the corrupt and powerful criminal, the big drug dealer. Beware: like in any other place. Only the one who takes the blame.

What I said: a shame.
